ALT-S Protocol of Security Developed by Dr Ivan Arroyo Tovar

The safety protocol is a set of rules that are practiced in Clinic Arroyo that was developed by the plastic surgeon Dr. Iván Arroyo Tovar, with the intention of guaranteeing the life and safety of each patient who undergoes any Cosmetic Surgery procedure, but mainly for use in Liposuction

* Exclusive use of Tumescent Local Anesthesia.

* Perform the Liposuction in sessions, at least two days apart.

* Perform only one procedure of Cosmetic Surgery per day per patient.

* Use Micro-Fenestrated Cannulas.

* Use Ultrasound, Radio Waves, Laser or other procedures to fluidize the fatty tissue.

* Thorough Clinical History to be reviewed by at least two qualified persons on the medical staff

* Pre Operatory lab analysis and Cardiovascular surgical risk before each intervention.

* This protocol had a transcendent international recognition as it was considered a great scientific contribution. Given this, statistical reports presented in Colombia, in 2007, by Dr. Gustavo Leibaschaff, President of the International Union of Lipoplasty, indicated that no case of mortality was observed in 300,000 Lipoplasties.
According to a first study published in January 2000 in the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and a second report published in 2007 in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery patients reported the same result.
That is to say, in both studies, it is said to have observed parameters equal or similar to the fundamental principles of the Security Protocol (ALT-S) developed in our country and disseminated in different International Scientific Forums by our President Dr. Iván Arroyo Tovar since the beginning of the nineties.
